October has been filled with new and enjoyable experiences. All students are learning information seeking skills whether it be knowing where the Everybody books are located in the library, using Destiny to find or put a book on hold, or becoming better acquainted with how our non fiction books are organized.

We are brushing up those tech skills too! Students are now Seesaw savvy and are familiar with their grade appropriate databases (PebbleGo, Truflix & Biblionasium). Fourth and Fifth graders have also logged into KCLS and explored some of the many online opportunities that are available to them there. Be sure to use these resources at home too!

We wrapped up October with the Pumpkin Book Project! It was a stellar success. So many imaginative and beautiful pumpkins! Thank you for participating, it is so heart warming to see how our community works together through these fun projects. The kids ooo-ed and ahhh-ed over the pumpkins each day!

Looking forward into November, be sure to check out the updated November Curriculum which is available under the "For Parents" tab. Ms. E. and I are so happy to be in the library with your children! Thank you for the privilege. :)
